The 31st Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) opened at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao, on October 21. Held alongside the 2026 Portuguese-Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (PLPEX) and the Macao Franchise Expo (MFE), the event brought together nearly 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, with trade representatives from 55 countries and regions attending under the theme of connecting global business through Macao. As one of the key enterprises organized by the Cooperation Zone, AMicro Technology Co., Ltd. presented a full-stack portfolio at the Hengqin Pavilion, including robotics main-control chips, sensors, desktop companion robots and mobile home monitoring robots, showcasing the results of Macao–Hengqin innovation collaboration.
The Hengqin Pavilion adopted the theme of new space for Macao and a land of opportunity in Hengqin. On opening day, Macao Chief Executive and Cooperation Zone Administrative Committee Director Sam Hou Fai toured its four industrial exhibition areas to learn about Hengqin–Macao collaboration.
In the technology R&D and high-end manufacturing area, AMicro's booth followed the theme From a Chip to a Complete Solution, presenting its full-stack achievements in dedicated robotics chips.
01 From a single chip to a complete turnkey solution
AMicro presented three core categories of exhibits that form a complete technology chain:
At the chip level, the AM970 development board and AM3103 series demonstrated the company's in-house main-control SoCs. AM970 integrates a 5 TOPS edge NPU and dedicated SLAM IP, supporting parallel processing of multiple HD video streams so robots can perform mapping, localization, navigation and decision-making on one chip in real time. At the perception level, T5C LiDAR and AI stereo vision modules provide multimodal environmental perception. At the device level, home monitoring robots and CUBIE robots demonstrated the practical results of coordinated chip and algorithm development.
Behind these three layers is AMicro's distinctive approach: implementing algorithms in silicon and integrating hardware and software. Customers receive a complete robotics solution covering everything from component selection to algorithm integration. This capability, developed over twelve years by the company behind the world's first dedicated robotics SLAM SoC, forms a core competitive advantage.

02 The market provides the clearest proof of technology
Globally, more than one in every two cleaning robots uses an AMicro solution, and eight of the ten leading intelligent cleaning robot brands are AMicro customers. Cumulative shipments of AMicro robotics solutions have exceeded ten million units or sets over the past three years, demonstrating its ability to deliver at scale in global markets.
Using MIF's international trade connections, AMicro's participation put its Robotics + AI strategy into practice. The company will continue developing chip-level full-stack intelligent robotics technologies and strengthening research–industry collaboration. Drawing on Macao's global connections, it will expand its ecosystem partnerships in China and overseas, bring Chinese-developed robotics chips to wider international markets and help industries become more intelligent.
